I'm happy to say that voting picked up a lot during round two, it looked like one picture was going to win, then votes came in for a different picture. Long story short, it was a close race, but the winner, by one vote was Pumpkin [link] by . Congrats to , and to our second place winner who put up one hell of a fight. I must say both of you had some great pictures. Speaking personally, I quite liked every entry we had, and I thank everyone who entered.

Our next contest, as per request of the winner is Horror Movie Portraits. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of interesting entries!

JOINING SPIRIT-Halloween
Joining SPIRIT-Halloween is easy, just send me a note with the subject line JOIN, and add us as a friend. We’ll add to our roster as quickly as possible. There is no requirement to add our icon to your journal entries, but it would be greatly appreciated if you would because it helps us get word out about the club. ANYONE can join, and we’re always happy to have new members. There is a hierarchy of sorts of members, Contest Winners, Multiple Submission Members, Single Submission Members, Voting Members, and Members. The only rank which can not be attained as soon as you join is Contest Winner, other than that you are free to submit as many pictures as you want or vote as soon as you join.

SUBMITTING TO SPIRIT-Halloween
Submitting pictures to SPIRIT-Halloween is also easy, just send me a note with the subject line SUBMISSION and a link to the picture you want to be submitted. All pictures ought to be at least remotely related to our themes in some way, but as long as it’s within our genre I’m happy to submit any and all pictures. There is no limit to how many pictures you can submit, but, I don’t want to see members submitting their entire galleries, keep up our submissions, but please don’t make us your second account.

CONTEST SUBMISSIONS TO SPIRIT-Halloween
Contest submissions to SPIRIT-Halloween work basically the same way as normal submissions with a few exceptions. Contests will begin on the 6th of every month, and end at the end of the month. To make a submission to a contest send me a note with the subject line CONTEST and put a link to the picture you want to submit in the body of the message and I’ll get it put up as quickly as possible. Contest winners will be moved up to the top rank of membership. For the month after winning the winning picture will be set as the featured deviation on our club page. Lastly, contest winners get to pick the theme for the next month, so be sure that you mention the theme you want for next month in the body of the note you send the submission in so that if you win your theme can be picked.

CONTEST VOTING
Voting is simple, send me a note with the subject line VOTE and put the name of the picture you are voting for in the body of the note. Membership is not a requirement to vote, however, voting is beneficial for those who are members as it can move a normal member up a rank.

SUGGESTION BOX FOR SPIRIT-Halloween
I am not the only person in the world who has ever had a good idea, in fact, I have had more than my fair share of bad ideas. SPIRIT-Halloween is an open and free thinking club, and I want to make it the best that it can be. I am always open to suggestions for new and interesting ways to make SPIRIT-Halloween better. Just send me a note with the subject line SUGGESTION and write out your suggestion in the body of the note and I will make sure to read it and give it lots of thought.
